Looks like a lot of fun :) About the "training" and "canibalism" - no problem as you said! Even if you know how to record you still need the equipment and of course the experience. As you said: good for demo-recordings but if a band like to have a reall good demo or master it will always go for some pro i think. (you cannot play and record at the same time without loosing something... quality or time) Great pictures! Looks like a lot of fun :)
